WASID Refund Policy
Last updated: 2026-07-28 Provider: Boldstep Productions Ltd, Accra, Ghana Contact: the access-request form
Effective when billing goes live: paid self-serve billing for WASID is not yet live. This policy takes effect from the first day paid subscriptions operate, and will be aligned with the chosen payment processor's rules at that point.
1. Scope
This policy applies to paid WASID subscriptions (Signal and Watch tiers, and any paid Analyst/partner arrangement billed under an order form). Trial, demo, or free evaluation access involves no payment and no refunds. For enterprise customers under a signed MSA (Master Services Agreement), the MSA's refund and termination terms control where they differ.
2. Currencies and processing
Subscriptions are billed in EUR or USD per your order form. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method, in the original billing currency; we do not compensate for exchange-rate movement between charge and refund. Processor timelines apply on top of ours.
3. Initial refund window
New paying customers may request a full refund within 14 days of first purchase if the Service has not been used in material breach of the Terms or AUP. WASID is a B2B service, and statutory consumer withdrawal rights generally do not apply to business purchases — but where a customer qualifies as a consumer under mandatory local law, that law prevails.
4. After the window
- Fees are otherwise non-refundable, except as required by law or expressly stated in a signed agreement.
- Renewals: non-refundable once the renewal term begins. Cancel before the renewal date to avoid the charge; access continues to the end of the paid term.
- Annual plans: if the customer terminates for our uncured material breach, we refund the unused prepaid portion pro-rata.
- Service credit vs refund: for SLA failures under an MSA, service credits (not cash refunds) are the exclusive remedy unless the MSA says otherwise.
5. Not refundable
- Fees for periods of suspension caused by your breach of the Terms or AUP.
- Charges consumed by usage already served (API calls made, alerts delivered).
- Taxes, where non-refundable by law.
- Third-party costs you incur around WASID (your own infrastructure, integrations, data egress).
6. How to request
Contact us via the access-request form from your account's registered contact address, with the organisation name and invoice/order reference. We confirm receipt within 3 business days and issue approved refunds within 14 business days, subject to processor timelines.
7. Chargebacks
Contact us before initiating a chargeback. Chargebacks filed without prior contact may result in suspension of the associated API keys pending resolution.
8. Changes
We may update this policy prospectively. The version in effect at the time of your purchase governs that purchase.
